FitRewards Challenge - August 2017 - V-Sit Hold

August 3, 2017

Information:
· Start in a seated position with your Arms extended forward, knees bent and feet off the floor. Positioning self on tail bone.
· With your arms by your sides extended forward, and belly tucked up and in towards spine you will continue to hold this position.
· The Key is to hold this position for as long as you can.

Rules:
· With the supervision of one of the Island Health & Fitness Exercise Physiologist trainers the participant will begin the V-sit as soon as his/her feet lift from the floor.
· The trainer will time this exercise until the participant’s heels hit the floor.
· If need be and at the discretion of the Island trainer timing this exercise the Participant will be able to modify by placing hands lightly on the outside of knees.
· If participant makes it past 1 minute in this hold they will be asked to extend legs straight into a true V-Sit position.
