I started coming to Island because: I needed to lose weight. I weighed over 300 pounds and was starting to have some health issues
My exercise routine at Island is: Weekdays - Arc Trainer & Stairmaster before work and weight training in the evenings. Weekends – Early morning cardio & core.
My favorite part of being a member at Island is: Variety. The gym offers a wide variety of machines, weights and classes in a nice, new building. I like the overall feel of the building – large, airy spaces with no dank “gym” smells.
When I’m not working out at Island I like to: Travel, watch sports, enjoy local restaurants and the lake.
Tell us something about yourself that most people would not know: While I have a degree in architecture, animations/cartoons were what I thought I’d be doing with my life. I still love animated movies and comics.
