What does grip strength, hip strength, back strength, leg strength, and overall awareness of body mobility have in common?

THE DEADLIFT

Stability exercises are FANTASTIC, but great core strength can be achieved with the help from one of the “BIG FOUR” power lifts. From Yoga fans to cross-fitters and powerlifting competitors, the deadlift has a place in everyone’s routine.

The deadlift is one of the most dynamic exercises on the market and has survived the test of time. Why? It has yet to be bested as the supreme measure of any one person’s overall strength. 

However, YOU DON’T HAVE TO GO HEAVY to benefit from the dynamic movements of the deadlift.

The deadlift is what we like to call a “REAL LIFE” lift. Meaning, an exercise like the deadlift allows you to easily carry something like a bucket, a laundry basket full of clothes, or even children for example. Benefits of the deadlift also include increases in body posture, fat burning, and overall strength. By involving more muscles than any other exercise, the deadlift has a positive effect on other exercises and can aid in injury prevention.  So ask a trainer and give it a try!!!
