Dear Island Health & Fitness Member,
Thank you for everything you do to ensure the health and safety of all Island Health & Fitness members, staff and guests! As of September 27, 2021, we will be requiring that all members, employees, contract staff, students, volunteers and visitors be vaccinated to enter our facilities. On Monday, September 6, 2021, members will be able to start the process of providing our front desk staff with proof of vaccination, which is defined in our Vaccination Policy that is attached.
Members who are unable to be vaccinated due to medical or religious reasons may apply for a Medical or Religious Exemption by filling out the attached form and returning it to our front desk in an sealed envelope addressed to Steve Brandt, IHF General Manager. One of our multi-disciplinary review committees will review each exemption request as they are submitted on a case-by-case basis.
This process will take extra time when checking in at our Front Desk. We ask for your continued patience as we continue to navigate through these ever-changing times.
