Class Descriptions:
Cycling is a bicycle based cardio class lasting an hour long. The fresh air and breeze of this open air space, combined with the view of the inlet make you forget you’re not actually on a road bike! We will take you over imaginary hills and valleys, challenge you to some surges and some tough spots, capitalizing on aerobic and anaerobic intensity, all to great music. You control the resistance allowing for a class that is suitable for all levels whether a seasoned rider or a beginner.
Pilates is a method of exercise that encourages the use of the mind to develop core postural muscle strength, stability, and flexibility, resulting in more efficient and graceful movement. Please be aware you will need to bring a mat for this class, or if you need we are now selling gently used, sanitized mats at the front desk (while supplies last). We are no longer offering them for borrowed use as the porous nature makes them harder to clean between classes.
BODYFLOW™ is a Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration, and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves, and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance. Fun fact from our instructor Laura, in other countries this class is known as BodyBalance because it targets core stability muscles.
BODYPUMP™ is a strength training class. A barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned, and fit – fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP will give you a total body workout.
BOOTCAMP is a cardio and strength-based class that uses calisthenics, cardio, body weight, and handheld weights are used to target major muscle groups. Format and routine changes weekly to increase the challenge. The instructor acts as a coach to ensure proper technique and alignment.
YOGA is a multi-level vinyasa class that blends alignment, qi gong, and breath. Integrate physical poses and stretches, relaxation and breathing exercises, and guided meditation to improve flexibility, raise and balance energy levels, and release stress. Appropriate for all. Please remember to bring your own mat and props you may want for this class, we are no longer offering them for borrowed use, due to the porous nature they are difficult to clean between classes.
REMINDER- FOR ALL CLASSES AND WORKOUTS:
Please be aware you will need to bring a mat for any classes, or if you need we are now selling gently used, sanitized mats at the front desk (while supplies last). We are no longer offering them for borrowed use as the porous nature makes them harder to clean between classes. Also, remember to bring your own towel and water.
